Not ‘gold’ in his eyes
It is wonderful that the new River Crest School is moving us towards a more energy-efficient society! But the community that it serves must drive or bus their children to school everyday -- sun or rain.By: Russ Yttri, Hudson, Hudson Star-Observer
It is wonderful that the new River Crest School is moving us towards a more energy-efficient society! But the community that it serves must drive or bus their children to school everyday -- sun or rain.
The developments this school serves will never have children that will be able to walk there because most of them live too far away. This school will never be "gold" in my eyes when it comes to the big picture of how we develop our society.
Schools should lead to wider minds not wider behinds.
