Pastor Tim Porter preached the sermon for an 11 a.m. service at the band shell, followed by the baptism of 30 people in the St. Croix River.
Pastor Larry Szyman said a dozen individuals, mostly youths, were planning to be baptized, and another 18 adults responded to an invitation given during the worship service.
The church served chicken dinners under a large open-sided tent to an estimated 1,100 to 1,200 people. That evening, 100 Pizza Hut pizzas were provided for the audience attending the Jared Anderson concert.
The Well Band from Faith Community Church opened the concert.
Children’s amusements and activities were provided throughout the day.
