Rosie M. Hollenbach, age 56 of Hudson, Wis., passed away Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009 in Leesburg, Fla.

Rosie was born to Kazimierz and Franciszka (Bujak) Jozefowski on Dec. 7, 1952 in Portage, Wis. Rosie graduated from Grafton High School in 1971. She married her high school sweetheart, Rick Hollenbach, on Nov. 18, 1972. In April 1990, she moved to Hudson, sought various job opportunities, and finally started a photography business in downtown Hudson specializing in wedding photography, tuxedo rentals, and portraits, along with current event items, from her studio on 2nd Street in Hudson.

Rosie was an active member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, achieving the position of Assistant District Staff Officer for Public Education, not to mention several Flotilla Staff Officer positions for her local Flotilla. She loved spending time boating on the St. Croix River and with her family, grandchildren, and friends. She also enjoyed traveling and time in their new home in Fruitland Park, Fla.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Hollenbach, of Hudson/Fruitland Park, Fla.; daughters: Kristine (Jeffery) Brown of Farmington, Minn., and Ericka (Steven) Reed of Hammond, Wis.; sons: Jason (Leah) Hollenbach of Superior, Wis. and Andrew of Hudson; grandchildren Robert Brown, Brandon and Kelsey Reed and Ellen Hollenbach; brother, Bruno (Mary) Jozefowski; sisters: Wanda (Tony) Smith and Christa (Roger) Gollnick; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Kazimierz and Franciszka (Bujak) Jozefowski; granddaughter Grace Rose Brown; and nephew Cory J. Bauer.

A visitation will be at St. Patrick’s Church in Hudson at 10 a.m., Friday Sept. 11, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at the church.
