Sixteen siblings in the Kapral family of Oshkosh completed the Fox Cities Marathon at Neenah Sunday.

And that apparently broke a world record set by the O’Donaghue family of Ireland in 2007, when 15 people ran in a race just one month after the Weisse family of Oshkosh had 13 relatives in the Fox Cities Marathon.

Mike Heidke, the cross country coach at Neenah High School, won the men’s race in two hours, 35 minutes, and 30 seconds.

Julie Spencer, a teacher from Baraboo, won the women’s race.
