Elliot gets designation
Lori Elliott, owner of Elliott Interior Design, recently received her Interior Color Consultant Certification as a requirement for professional status with the American Society of Interior Designers. “As an interior designer, many color decisions come from experience and a natural eye for color. However, you need to be familiar with all aspects of color, understanding how its use goes beyond aesthetic appeal,” says Elliott. She said it is insighful to see how people react to various colors and said she enjoys helping them understand why.
Elliott has been designing for commercial and residential clients for over 17 years. Her recent projects include Seasons on St. Croix (Hudson), Air Motion Systems (AMS in River Falls), Northern Electric Incorporated (NEI in St. Croix Falls) and various residential projects.
