One count of felony theft and two misdemeanor theft counts against Terrance J. Anderson, 45, 521 Fourth St. N. were filed Oct. 7 in regard to missing money from the United Methodist Church youth group checking account.
The criminal complaint alleged Anderson, who was hired as permanent youth director on April 30, 2007, had written 33 checks payable to cash, endorsed and cashed by him on the group’s account for some $13,955 between June 13, 2007, and Oct. 25, 2008.
Anderson resigned Oct. 27, 2008, and was formally terminated in November, the complaint said.
