Murray benefit to be held Saturday

A benefit for Derek Murray, 25, of Hudson is scheduled Saturday, Nov. 7 beginning at 3 p.m. at the Willow River Saloon in Burkhardt. He is a 2002 Hudson High School graduate.

Murray was diagnosed with diffused large B-cell lymphoma last summer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. The benefit is to assist Murray with medical and living expenses. The event will include food, a raffle, silent auction and live entertainment by Stampede (9 p.m. to 2 a.m.).

Cost of the event is $20 for adults and $10 for children.

Anyone wishing to make a donation may send a check made out to the “Derek Murray benefit” and send it to WESTconsin Credit Union, PO Box 607, Hudson, WI 54016.
