Church has community Thanksgiving service
Memorial Lutheran Church in Afton will host a community Thanksgiving service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25.
Memorial Lutheran Church in Afton will host a community Thanksgiving service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25.
Participating St. Croix Valley churches include St. Croix Valley United Methodist, Saint Frances of Assisi, Valley Baptist and Shepherd of the Valley.
A choir with representatives from all churches will sing at the service, and Memorial’s bell choir will perform.
The offering from the service will be donated to Valley Outreach for food shelf and emergency fund purposes.
