H1N1 vaccine available Dec. 3 in New Richmond
St. Croix County Public Health Department has received a limited supply of both the nasal and injectable H1N1 vaccine. The vaccine will be distributed to the target groups at clinics held Thursday, Dec. 3rd at the St. Croix County Health and Human Services Building, Public Health Department, 1445 N. 4th Street in New Richmond.
St. Croix County Public Health Department has received a limited supply of both the nasal and injectable H1N1 vaccine. The vaccine will be distributed to the target groups at clinics held Thursday, Dec. 3rd from noon – 5 p.m. (while supplies last) at the St. Croix County Health and Human Services Building, Public Health Department, 1445 N. 4th Street in New Richmond.
The current supply of H1N1 vaccine is of two types: nasal and injectable. Based on the manufacturer’s approvals and the current target groups, the vaccine is available for the following:
The health department said that it expects to receive more vaccine over the coming weeks and they have been informed that there will be enough for everyone over time.
The vaccine will be administered while supplies last. No appointments are necessary and the shots are free.
