Uwezo’s annual charity concert is Dec. 4
Uwezo’s fifth annual charity concert is at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at the Trinity Family Center, located at the corner of Hwy. 12 and Badlands Road.
Join Suzie Umbel, the Trinity Lutheran Church contemporary worship team and Cedar Valley Brass as they lead a Christmas carol sing-along. In addition to the concert there will be testimonies and a silent auction.
Proceeds from the good will offering and silent auction will go to help Uwezo International Inc. Uwezo has a local ministry called Uwezo Freedom Ministry, and their newest ministry, Africa Leadership and Care Ministries, provides leadership training to Christian leaders in Kenya and other practical care ministries.
UFM is a Christian-based recovery ministry that brings the word of God to anyone from the community struggling with an addiction and those incarcerated at the St. Croix County Jail. Volunteers provide worship, fellowship and guidance to the inmates as they serve their sentences and transition back into the community. UFM has provided Christian outreach to hundreds of people struggling with addictions, inmates and their families in St Croix County since its creation in 2001.
