Man sent to prison for child abuse
A Hudson man was sentenced to prison last Friday on convictions for felony child abuse and causing a child to view sex activity.

Michael Terry Ross Jr., 33, was sentenced Dec. 11 to three years in prison and three years extended supervision on the child abuse conviction. A six-year sentence on the second count was imposed and stayed by Judge Edward F. Vlack.
Ross was also to serve three year’s probation consecutive to the prison sentence. Six other felony and misdemeanor charges in the case were dismissed.
The criminal complaint said on Dec. 10, 2008, Ross played a pornographic movie for a 13-year-old girl and touched her inappropriately at his downtown Hudson residence.
