School visits tree farm
Kindergarten classes from Houlton Elementary School recently visited Leverty's Traditional Tree Farm in Houlton to look at evergreen trees and to see how wreaths and swags are made. Enjoying a hay wagon ride through the tree farm are, from left, Andrew Coffey, Gretchen Gunderzik, Carter Mears and Sophia Johnson. They are students in Natalie Thorson's class.
