Theater classes for youth

Theater classes for students in grades 1-6 will be offered on four Saturday mornings, Jan. 16 through Feb. 6 at The Phipps Center for the Arts.

Creating the Characters of Beatrix Potter will be offered for students in grades 1-3 from 9 to 10 a.m. Participants will study the work of the beloved children’s author and adapt her memorable animal characters for the stage. The fee is $35.

Fairytales Come to Life will be offered for students in grades 4-6 from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. Young actors will adapt their favorite fairytales for the stage. The fee is $40.
