Bank picks charity

First American Bank, 2424 Monetary Blvd., selected Bridge for Youth with Disabilities as January’s Denim with a Cause charitable organization. First American Bank’s Denim with a Cause program has raised over $650 that has been given to local charities and non-profit organizations since November. Every Friday employees can purchase the right to wear Denim (with a Cause) for a $5 donation. All proceeds go directly to the chosen organization.

The public is also welcome to contribute to Bridge for Youth with Disabilities by dropping a donation at the bank between Jan. 4 and 29. Checks can be made payable to Bridge for Youth with Disabilities and donations are tax deductible. For more information call the bank at (715) 381-8330.

HiBA names winners

The Hudson Independent Business Association (HiBA) announced the winners in the pre-holiday “Shop Local Holiday Promotion.” Shoppers registered in any HiBA member business to win one of three $100 Hudson Chamber Dollars certificates. The winners were Mitzi McRoberts, Michelle Scheel and Val Aune.
