Autumn Pearl Hanson was a gift to her family from Heaven above. She was peacefully offered back to the Lord by her mother and father, knowing she sits in the eternal Glory of Christ. She was an angel on earth for four months.
Autumn Pearl was born on Oct. 9, 2009, to Lyndia and Trevor Hanson of Hammond, Wis., becoming the little sister of Evelyn Jo. She died unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, at Gillette Children’s Hospital in St. Paul, Minn.
In addition to her parents and sister, Autumn will remain in the hearts of her grandparents, Jake Hoffman of Randolph, Wis., Sarah Hoffman of Fall River, Wis., Bernard (Tina) Hanson of Milwaukee, Wis., and Jill Grunseth of Ingram, Wis.; aunts, uncles and cousins, Monica (Bill) Root and their children Chase and Erica, Dana (Randy) Kuznar and sons Tyler and Shane Olson, Tonya (Erik) Huber and their daughter Julia Perl, Waylon Hoffman, Loni (Eric) Hasenfuss and their son Jackson James; and extended family and friends who loved her dearly.
A memorial service for Autumn Pearl will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 14107 S. Hudson Road, in Afton, Minn. Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for later designation.
