Frederic Delano Renville, a former resident of Hudson, Wis., died on March 2, 2010, in Las Vegas, Nev., due to complications from a major stroke. He was 73.

Frederic D. Renville was born May 31, 1936, at Walhalla, N.D., the seventh son of Joseph and Georgiana (Melhus) Renville. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a proud veteran. He was also proud of his 35+ years of service with 3M. As an avid sportsman, he loved baseball, basketball, fishing, golf and horse racing.

Frederic is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rosemarie; three children, Rick (Jen), Mike, and Steve (Tonya); and three grandchildren, Emily, Jarred and Brayden. He is also survived by his brothers, Jack (Dolores) Renville, Lowen Renville, Jerry (Toshiko) Renville, Curt (Lil) Renville, and Tim Renville, as well as his two sisters, Karen (Dave) Gottwalt and Jeanne Wood.

To all of his family and friends, the Renville family would like to thank everyone who he has touched as we are all grateful for the kindness, joyfulness, and love he shared. He will be missed, but never forgotten. God bless.

Memorial service was held on March 7 at Davis Funeral Home, 2127 West Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89102.
