HFD orders burning ban
Chief Jim Frye of the Hudson Fire Department has imposed a burning ban for all of the Hudson Fire District effective immediately.
Chief Jim Frye of the Hudson Fire Department has imposed a burning ban for all of the Hudson Fire District effective immediately. The chief says the ban will stay in place until the soil temperatures increase and the grass turns green.
The ban includes fire pits and outdoor fireplaces. The use of charcoal grills for cooking purposes is allowed.
The fire district includes the city of Hudson, village of North Hudson and the towns Hudson and Troy. For more information contact the HFD at (715)386-5861.
