Crane does the heavy lifting
Work continues on the renovation and expansion of the downtown building at 529 Second St. Last Friday, a large crane was brought in to lay the pre-cast concrete floor for the addition at the back of the building.

Work continues on the renovation and expansion of the downtown building at 529 Second St.
Last Friday, a large crane was brought in to lay the pre-cast concrete floor for the addition at the back of the building.
Building owner Andy Kron said most of the space in the lower garden level of the building is leased, but the main street-level floor is open.
He’d like to bring a bakery to that space.
The goal is to have the construction project completed by July 1.
