Church has golf outing
Roberts Congregational United Church of Christ is sponsoring a golf tournament Saturday, June 26, at Badland Golf Course. The cost per golfer is $100. It includes 18 holes, half a cart, banquet dinner, gift bag and prizes. Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m. with a shot gun start at 1 p.m. Golfers have an opportunity to win a 2010 Chevy Impala from Luther Hudson Chevrolet, Pontiac, GMC in Hudson. To win, golfers have to hit a hole-in-one on the par-3 second hole. Registration forms are available at the church or online at www.robertsucc.org. A raffle drawing is scheduled at 7 p.m. with the top prize being a 16-foot, hand-crafted cedar strip canoe. A picnic-style dinner and silent auction are part of the event. Volleyball camp set
The Hudson Volleyball Association and Croix Attack are holding a volleyball camp at the Hudson High School East Gym for girls entering grades 6-8. Session 1, for girls entering grade 6, with little or no experience, is Monday-Thursday, July 19-22, from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Cost is $55. Girls should arrive at 9 a.m. the first day. Session 2, for girls entering grades 7 and 8, with experience, is Tuesday-Thursday, July 20-22, from 4:30-9 p.m. Cost is $75. Girls should arrive at 4 p.m. the first day.

Tennis and more in Afton
Holiday activities are set June 26-July 4 in Afton. A weeklong tennis tournament begins Saturday, June 26, for ages 12 and up, beginning at the Afton Lakeland School; register by June 24.
