The Helen Bader Foundation has announced a new partnership between the St. Croix County Aging and Disability Resource Center and the Minneapolis Institute of Art in a plan to engage older adults with early- to mid-stage Alzheimer’s disease and their caregivers. The MIA is one of 10 museums across the region that are participating in the program.

There will be a breakfast and presentation about the program on Thursday, Aug. 26 from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Hudson Golf Club, 210 Carmichael Road. This event is for families of individuals living at home in the Hudson area and experiencing dementia. There is no charge for the breakfast and the event is open to the public. Space is limited, however, and pre-registration is required.

For a reservation contact Kim Thao by Aug. 20 at events@hbf.org or by contacting the Aging and Disability Resource Center at (715)381-4360. For more information on the program, go to www.hbf.org/museums.htm.
