Truck burns on Willow River Drive
Firefighters from the town of St. Joseph were called to extinguish a blazing pickup truck on Willow River Drive last Monday.

Firefighters from the town of St. Joseph were called to extinguish a blazing pickup truck on Willow River Drive last Monday.
St. Croix County Sheriff Dennis Hillstead said Kevin R. Johnson, 30, New Richmond, was traveling west on Willow River Drive when he noticed smoke coming out from under the dashboard of his 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 PK.
He pulled over to the side of the road, got out and the truck caught fire. It was totally engulfed in flames when the fire department arrived. Nobody was injured.
The mishap occurred about one-half mile north of County E at 6 p.m. Aug. 30.
