Scott Walker, Milwaukee County executive and Republican candidate for governor, stopped in Hudson Sunday on his Brown Bag Bus Tour. Walker, left, organized the bus tour in the final days leading up to Tuesday’s primary, crisscrossing the state from Milwaukee to Superior and Hudson to green Bay. Walker faces fellow-Republicans Mark Nuemann and Scott S. Paterick in Tuesday’s primary with the winner facing the Democrat winner, either Tom Barrett or Tim John. In Hudson Walker promoted his theme of smaller government and less government spending. He also accused current Gov. Jim Doyle and potential November opponent Tom Barrett of trying to influence the Republican primary election. “Since the attack ads against me began, Jim Doyle and Tom Barrett have literally spent millions of dollars trying to sway the Republican primary so they won’t have to face me in November,” said Walker.
