Four Raiders All-BRC soccer

Raider senior Chris Berglund has been named to the All-Big Rivers Conference Soccer Team for the second straight season while senior JC Tantalean, junior Ian Hey and sophomore Seth Blum earned All-BRC honors for the first time.

Raider senior Chris Berglund has been named to the All-Big Rivers Conference Soccer Team for the second straight season while senior JC Tantalean, junior Ian Hey and sophomore Seth Blum earned All-BRC honors for the first time.

Berglund and Blum were both named to the All-BRC Second Team while Tantalean and Hey received Honorable Mention. Berglund was an Honorable Mention selection last year as a junior.

Eau Claire Memorial had the most players named to the team with nine, including BRC Player of the Year Zach Brown. David Kite of Eau Claire Memorial was voted Coach of the Year.

Brown, along with teammate Elek Lane, Zane Heinselman of River Falls, Teagen Warrick of Chippewa Falls and Eric Kron of Eau Claire North, were all unanimous selections to the All-BRC First Team.

Rounding out the first team are Austin Saari of River Falls, Aaron Bresina of Chippewa Falls, Mark Blazel and Max Sebesta of Eau Claire Memorial, and Scott Rydzik and Michael Vue of Eau Claire North.

Chippewa Falls and River Falls each had five players named to the team while Hudson, Eau Claire North and Rice Lake all had four and Menomonie had two.

The Raiders finished the season with a record of 4-8-0 in the BRC, 4-14-0 overall.
