Beverly Offner, 79, of Stanley, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at Sacred Heart Hospital-Eau Claire.
She was born on July 25, 1931, in Ashland, the daughter of the late Henry and Margaret (Mondou) McGraw. The family moved to the Tony area and she graduated from Flambeau High School.
After school she married Zachariah Offner. The couple had five children together. Zachariah died on Nov. 3, 1986.
Beverly later met and married Joe Rygiel on Nov. 1, 2003. They have been a couple for the past 21 years.
Beverly loved sports, enjoyed bird watching, knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Joseph Rygiel Sr. of Stanley; four children, Tom (Debbie) Offner, Bill Offner, Randy (Diane) Offner all of Hudson, Dawn (Greg) Hansen of Ham Lake, Minn.; a son-in-law, Matt Fishero of Indiana; seven step-children, Joe (Susan) Rygiel Jr. of Cadott, Debra Rygiel of Sparta, Terri (Jerry) Allen of Stanley, Julie (Craig) Lodahl of Delevan, Sharon (Herman) Chwala of Stanley, Brenda (Jeff) Thomas of Osceola and Edward (Nicole) Rygiel of Elk Mound; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Colleen Brosman and Mickey DeWeese, and one brother, Denny McGraw, all of Washington.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Holly Fishero; and brothers Edward Pelon, Jack, Patrick and Tom McGraw.
A visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29, at the Plombon Funeral Home-Stanley.
