Town of Hudson Chair Jeff Johnson reported Tuesday, Jan. 4, at the town board meeting that the town has been approved for funding for the Trout Brook Road bridge project. The project is slated to begin design in the 2013 fiscal year, with construction beginning in the 2014 fiscal year. These dates are subject to change if funding permits.
Fire contract
After a lengthy discussion in December, the town board once again looked at signing a fire contract with the City of Hudson at the town board meeting. The City of Hudson submitted a five-year contract proposal to the town, however, Supervisor Foster noted that the submitted five-year contract is not what was discussed by the Fire Board and motioned that the town sign a single-year contract for 2011. The motion carried.
