This course is for managers and HR professionals who design and/or support the performance process. Key topics include an examination of tools and techniques for each component of the performance management cycle, how to set goals and practice how to conduct feedback, and using performance management to get the best results out of staff. Legal Issues for Managers

Friday, April 15, 2011 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Topics covered include employee handbooks, hiring practices, payment of wages and overtime, personnel files, performance evaluation, discipline, and the many aspects that impact these employment practices. Fee is $199.
