Gymnasts drop BRC dual at RF

Baker turned in the Raiders’ highest score of the night with an 8.8 on the floor exercise, good enough for fourth place. She added scores of 8.4 on the vault, 7.575 on the uneven bars and 7.45 on the balance beam to finish third in the all-around competition with a total score of 32.225.

Ferrell scored 8.6 in the vault to tie for fourth and finished with scores of 8.55 on floor, 7.85 on the balance beam and 6.3 on the uneven bars to place fourth in the all-around with a total of 31.3.

Monette had two scores of 8.05 in the vault and the floor, while adding scores of 7.15 on both the uneven bars and balance beam to finish fifth in the all-around with a total of 30.4.

The Raiders’ fourth all-around competitor, Deven DuCharme, compiled scores of 8.175 in the vault, 7.75 on the floor, 6.8 on the balance beam and 6.75 on the uneven bars to place sixth with a total all-around score of 29.475.

Brooke Miller tied for seventh place on the balance beam with a score of 7.75 and took eighth in the floor exercise with 8.225, while Maddy Rohde finished eighth on the uneven bars with a 6.5 and tenth in the vault with 7.875.

The Raiders will be at home in the Willow River Elementary School gym twice this week, for a BRC dual against Eau Claire Thursday, Jan. 27 at 6:30 p.m. and for the Hudson Invitational Saturday, Jan. 29 beginning at 10 a.m.
