The town of Hudson considered a change in the town website at the monthly board meeting Tuesday, Feb. 1. Town Chair Jeff Johnson presented a brochure from Town Web Design, and asked the board to review it and consider changing the town’s site.
Johnson said that the new design and system will be better than the one currently in place and would be less expensive to maintain after the initial $2,000 set-up fee. Supervisor Dave Ostby will research the information further and bring a report back to the board during the scheduled March 29 meeting.
Maintenance pay
A proposal was made Tuesday night to increase the wage compensation for park maintenance, general maintenance and snow shoveling to $17 per hour. The motion was carried by the Board.
Tax roll errors
Discussion was held Tuesday night regarding seven items on the 2010 tax roll that were found to be in error. The errors ranged in size from $73.26 to over $10,000. The board approved a motion to issue a check to St. Croix County to cover the charge backs for the 2010 tax roll in the amount of $12,183.39.
