Dear Editor,
We are facing a key election in the Town of St. Joseph this spring. With many prevailing uncertainties within our present economic conditions and with a new emphasis based on promoting our political differences as opposed to a focus on negotiation and compromise we most definitely need a renewed emphasis on quality of leadership for our town. It is with a great measure of confidence, based on my observations of Dan Gavin’s outstanding service as a member of the St. Joseph Town Board, Public Works Committee, Finance Committee, and Library Board over a period covering eight years, that I support Dan’s election to the position of Town of St. Joseph Chairman.
Dan Gavin has continually exhibited outstanding positive people relationships. He is an accomplished communicator who recognizes citizens as generators of ideas with purpose. Dan is not afraid to lead and because he has always represented the town in a positive manner and as an accomplished listener, he is sure to be a leader who will respect input from the town citizenry as well as from his fellow board members.
If you are seeking an insightful person as Town Chair of St. Joseph to lead our town through some serious uncertain fiscal times and yet be able to maintain adequate public works responsibilities and reasonable public safety, please join me and support Dan Gavin for Chairman of the Town Board of St. Joseph.
