The Troy Town Board held a public meeting prior to its regularly scheduled March 10 board meeting to discuss required changes to the town’s subdivision ordinance. Included were verbiage changes, changes to deadlines for plat submittal and approval and specifications on letter of credit requirements.
The changes are the result of amendments to Chapter 236 of the Wisconsin state statutes that came from the 2009 Wisconsin Act 376.
The town board voted on the issue during the meeting that immediately followed the public hearing and passed the changes to the ordinance. A full list can be found on the town’s website www.townoftroy.org.
Park Board update
The Troy Park Board reiterated its message from last month that the installation of the dock and gangway at the Cove boat ramp will most likely be delayed due flooding risks. A back-up plan would be for Windmill Marina to store the equipment at the Pemble’s Access site until it can be safely installed in its permanent location at Cove.
