Dear Editor,

As a concerned citizen and as a candidate in the Town of Troy for Supervisor #3, I write to remind and urge my friends, neighbors, and fellow citizens to vote in the spring election on Tuesday April 5.

There are several important reasons to vote. For one, your vote counts! Regardless of whether you live in the city or a town, there are several contested races in this election and the winners of those races will be making important decisions on behalf of their constituents.

If you live in the River Falls School District you are aware of the school board referendum to be decided. Wherever you stand on this issue, cast your vote and help shape the outcome.

Lest we forget, by now we are all aware of the Wisconsin State Supreme Court Justice seat and its importance.

It doesn’t cost you anything to vote, your vote does matter and by voting you partake in our democracy and perform your civic duty.

Don’t leave it up to others to decide, cast your ballot and exercise your right to vote for the candidates of your choice. Additionally, if you live in the Town of Troy, I ask for your continued support and thank you for giving me the opportunity to represent you.
