Wrestling meet June 6

Hudson Wrestling holds its annual meeting, which includes the election of officers, on Monday, June 6, at 7 p.m. at the Hudson High School Cafeteria. Rowing classes set

St. Croix Rowing Club is offering two separate Learn-to-Row classes this summer, June 16-19 or July 14-17 on the St. Croix River in Hudson. Learn-To-Row is open to adults who are competent swimmers and in good physical health. Space is limited to six participants per clinic and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Ace at local golf course

Tom Metzger of Las Vegas recorded a hole-in-one at White Eagle Golf course last week. He aced the 164-yard, 13th hole, using a 6 iron.

Golf fundraiser held June 20

FORE Kids Golf Fundraiser for HOPE Adoption & Family Services will be held Monday, June 20, at Kilkarney Hills Golf Club in River Falls. Admission ($85/person, $100 after June 1) includes lunch, 18-hole tournament, range balls, prizes, cart and dinner. Dinner-only tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for kids 12 and under. Sponsorships are needed at the $150 Bronze, $500 Gold, and $1,000 Platinum levels. Registration is at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Scoring and a cash bar begin at 6 p.m. with a barbecue buffet at 6:30 p.m. followed by the program, awards, silent and live auctions. Uncle Mike’s takes first

The 30th annual Twin States Pool Tournament was held April 28-May 1 and a team sponsored by Uncle Mike’s won the 2011 Masters Division crown. The four-day annual pool event consists of singles, doubles and team tournaments and draws top pool players from Wisconsin and Minnesota. Members of the Uncle Mike’s Gold pool team are Brian Dodge, Erik Smith, Bob Williams, Bill Hansen, Brian Janovec and Tim Anderson.
