Hudson's Hawksford loses in state semifinals
Hudson's Kolya Hawksford was blocked in his pursuit of a WIAA state title by Hartford's Nick Becker in the semifinals of the state wrestling tournament Friday evening at the Kohl Center.

MADISON - Hudson's Kolya Hawksford was blocked in his pursuit of a WIAA state title by Hartford's Nick Becker in the semifinals of the state wrestling tournament Friday evening at the Kohl Center.
Becker controlled their Division 1, 160-pound semifinal the whole way for 17-5 major decision.
Hawksford's only points came on escapes. Becker scored on two to three takedowns per period.
Hawksford will now wrestle for third through sixth place this morning and afternoon.
