Raise the “Woof” Animal Walk raises over $4,000

St. Croix Animal Friends hosted their annual Raise the “Woof” Animal Walk at Lakefront Park in Hudson on June 11. Dogs of all sizes and breeds attended with their owners to walk and enjoy the activities. Attendees enjoyed the festive music, door prizes, free ice cream and cookies.

There were also treats for the dogs.

The dogs participated in several contests including the “Hot Dog Race.” Prizes were awarded for top pledge winners. The grand prize was a laptop computer won by Lanette Barnes of Hudson.

All totaled $4,108 was raised. Proceeds will go toward helping St. Croix Animal Friends in their work to build an animal shelter in St. Croix County.
