Bidding on original artwork by 72 regional artists will conclude at A Seriously Fun Art Auction Gala, on Thursday, July 21, at 7 p.m. at The Phipps Center for the Arts.
Tickets for this special event are $35 per person in advance and $45 at the door, and include an evening of sweet and savory hors d’oeuvres provided by Urban Olive and Vine, Knoke’s, The Nova, and San Pedro Cafe/Barker’s, sophisticated wines served by The Nova, strolling music by Mark Stillman, and a live auction conducted by Jack Hines. “This is a summer event you won’t want to miss. Have fun knowing you’re supporting The Phipps, Hudson’s beloved community art center, enjoy food and wine from some of Hudson’s best restaurants, and to top it off, go home with an original work of art to cherish for years to come. The Seriously Fun Art Auction Gala will make a great date night or an opportunity to meet up with friends for a fun night out,” say event organizers Susan Kattas and Lana Sjoberg, members of The Phipps Visual Arts Council.
