REPLACEMENT PROGRAM

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Hudson in the City Hall at 505 Third Street, Hudson, Wisconsin, until 11:00 a.m. C.S.T., Thursday, August 11, 2011, at which time Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and all else necessary for the following:

In general, Work consists of the following approximate quantities:

6,200 SQ FT 4" Sidewalk per square foot replacement

1,450 SQ FT 6" Sidewalk per square foot replacement

608 L.F. D24 Curb and Gutter replacement

Prices should include traffic control, excavation, removals, replacement and asphalt patching per City standard specifications and restoration.

Bidders desiring a copy of the bid documents may obtain them from the Public Works office at 505 Third Street, Hudson, Wisconsin, 54016. (715) 386-4767. Bid documents may be seen at the office of the City of Hudson or be reviewed on the city website at www.ci.hudson.wi.us

Bid Security is required at the time of the bid in the amount of 5% of the bid amount in accordance to the instructions to Bidders.

The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of the Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of the Bids.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner.
