Hudson Tour of Homes

Visitors of the Christmas Tour of Homes have come to expect uniquely decorated homes and items at the Tour of Homes craft sale.

Visitors of the Christmas Tour of Homes have come to expect uniquely decorated homes and items at the Tour of Homes craft sale. Five area homes and the Octagon House are all decorated for the holidsay season. New and old homes are featured each year and are open for viewing one weekend a year.

The annual sale adn tour is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, the third weekend in Novmeber. The sale focuss on high-quality, traditional Christmas crafts, including wreaths, gifts, cards, ornaments, arrangements and other decorations.

There is also a beautiful variety of handcrafted gifts including jewelry, clothing and hats, handmade soaps and bath products.

There are many crafters who make an annual appearance at the sale, but there are always new participants each year. Applications for this sale start coming in early spring, but only the best are chosen to participate.

The Hudson House is a regular stop of the Tour of Homes shuttle bus. Visitors to the Tour of Homes along with arts and crafts enthusiasts will find that the craft show makes for a special weekend in Hudson. Admission to the sale and festival is free.

Tour-goers are also encouraged to shop the many one-of-a-kind retail shops in Hudson. Watch for merchandise from the shops in the homes on the tour. These items are for sale in the shops.

The Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau is your best source for information about the Hudson area.

The Chamber is located in the heart of historic downtown Hudson on the corner of Second and Walnut streets at 502 Second St. The office is managed by Chamber President Kim Heinemann. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

The Chamber has more than 500 members, and sponsors community and tourist events like the Annual Meeting/Awards Banquet, the St. Croix Music & Art Festival, the Hudson Autumn Tastewalk and the Hudson Christmas Tour of Homes.
