North-South event won by Wurm
Hudson senior Cassie Wurm carded a 76 to earn medalist honors at the North-South Challenge last Wednesday, Aug. 24 at Hiawatha Golf Course in Tomah.
Hudson senior Cassie Wurm carded a 76 to earn medalist honors at the North-South Challenge last Wednesday, Aug. 24 at Hiawatha Golf Course in Tomah.
The meet, which features teams from the Mississippi Valley Conference and Big Rivers Conference, was won by Onalaska with 346. River Falls was the top BRC team, finishing third with 356, while Hudson placed sixth with 372.
Wurm’s 76 earned her a one-stroke victory over Onalaska’s Monica Rohe.
Hayley Uzpen added a score of 94 for the Raiders and Leisha Cory posted a 98 while Lindsey Frank and Lauren Berglund each finished with 104.
