Another crash on Carmichael

The second two-vehicle crash of the week happened Thursday, Sept. 1, at the intersection of Carmichael Road and Center Drive.
According to a Hudson Police Department report, Emily K. Deiss, 18, Roberts, was traveling south on Carmichael and attempted to make a left turn onto Center Drive in front of a northbound car driven by Steven J. Olson, 62, Blaine, Minn. The two cars collided, resulting in a minor injury to Olson. A passenger in his car, Steven Roy, New Brighton, Minn., wasn’t injured. Neither was Deiss. She was cited for failure to yield to oncoming traffic.
The intersection also was the scene of an accident Monday morning, Aug. 29. That crash also happened when a driver failed to yield to oncoming traffic while making a left turn.
