The Hudson Area Swim Association (HASA) held its fall mini-meet Friday, Sept. 30, at the Hudson Middle School pool, with 86 local athletes, ranging in ages from 6 to 22, competing in the event.

The mini-meet is a competition among HASA swimmers, and for several of the athletes this was their first swim competition. The competition kicks off the short-course season, which ends mid-March with the Minnesota State Championships in Rochester, Minn., where HASA expects to have a strong representation.

HASA is hosting a swim meet Oct. 15 and 16 and expects nearly 700 swimmers from throughout Minnesota to compete in Hudson. The two-day meet is free to the public.

HASA is the feeder club for the Hudson High School boys’ and girls’ swim teams, and practices at the Hudson Middle School. For more information on joining the swim club or sponsoring the team, go to Tags:
