Burning ban in place

Effective Oct. 5 a burning ban will be in effect until further notice for the following municipalities:

Effective Oct. 5 a burning ban will be in effect until further notice for the following municipalities: City of Hudson, Village of North Hudson, Town of Hudson, and Town of Troy. No outside burning will be allowed except for gas and charcoal grills.

The order comes from Hudson Fire Department Chief Jim Frye.
