Rotary Halloween Parade draws big crowd

This group of Lego characters won Best of Show at the 58th annual Halloween Parade sponsored by the Hudson Rotary Clubs Monday afternoon. The grand prize was a Wii Game System. The group included, front from left, Jacob Weber, Claire Kromrey and Liam Taber; back, Matthew Taber, Arden Taber, Vincent Kromrey and Vaughn Kromrey.

The 58th annual Halloween Parade, sponsored by the Hudson Rotary clubs, drew a large crowd on a mild Monday afternoon at Newton Field.
The clubs awarded cash prizes in five age groups and also a grand prize of a Wii system for the “Best of Show.” Prizes in each age group were: $25 (first), $20 (second), $15 (third), $10 (fourth) and $5 (fifth). Each participating child received a goodie bag.
Hudson’s two Rotary clubs are the Daybreak Club that meets each Wednesday morning and the Thursday Noon Club. Both meet at the Hudson Golf Course.
