The Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce annual Christmas Tour of Homes & Craft Sale and related events are scheduled Nov. 18-20 in Hudson. This year the tour heads out to the country, including five beautiful homes and the historic Octagon House beautifully decorated for the holidays.
Dazzle Tour
Events begin with the Christmas Dazzle Tour on Friday, Nov. 18, 6-9 p.m. Organizers invite participants to be part of a smaller crowd while visiting five homes in the evening, when each home sparkles and shines. Live orchestral music entertains at the historic Octagon House. The cost of the Evening Dazzle Tour is $35 per person. Officials remind the public that this special evening tour does not include shuttle service. Organizers strongly recommend that you predetermine your route with the home addresses include on the ticket map.
Black tie
Another Friday evening event is the Black Tie festivities and tickets must be reserved by the end of the day Friday (Nov. 11). This opportunity includes the homes on the Dazzle Tour, but also includes transportation on a private coach bus beginning at 6 p.m. This tour is followed by a reception at Urban Olive & Vine where unique appetizers and delicious desserts will be served. A cash bar and live entertainment with Pop & Soul Musician, Russ King, and “Devine Collection” are also on the agenda. Tickets are limited and must be reserved by Nov. 10 for $75 per guest. Tour, craft sale
The traditional Christmas Tour of Homes & Craft Sale is Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 19 and 20; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday noon to 4 p.m. The tour features five beautifully decorated homes, the historic Octagon House, and the convenience of a free shuttle service. A stop at the Best Western/Hudson House Inn includes a Craft Sale and Market Place -- Saturday only, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with live morning entertainment by the Hudson Middle School orchestra. Shops and restaurants will feature extended hours. Admission to the craft sale is free.
