Webelos Den 2 from Pack 213 spent a day working at Willow River State Park and Nature Center. The Scouts have been working with Kari Nestingen-Hussey at the Nature Center to earn the Webelos Forester and Naturalist badges. She has also helped them start work on the Wildlife Conservation Belt loop, World Conservation Badge, Leave No Trace Award, and Outdoor Activity Award. The day included a hike, picking up trash, built two newspaper boxes and cut down buckthorn and other growth along the trail. The Scouts also learned about knife and fire safety.
