PUBLIC NOTICE RE: PAYMENT OF REAL ESTATE AND PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES

CITY OF HUDSON, TOWNS OF HUDSON, TROY AND ST JOSEPH

The St Croix County Treasurer will be collecting the real estate and personal property taxes for the CITY OF HUDSON, TOWNS OF HUDSON, TROY AND ST JOSEPH, due by January 31, 2012.

Questions or concerns regarding your real estate and personal property taxes should be made to your local municipality.

IN PERSON – Pay by check or cash, St. Croix County Treasurer’s Office, 1101 Carmichael Road, Hudson. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, or deposited in the night deposit on the outside of the building.

US MAIL – St. Croix County Treasurer, 1101 Carmichael Road, Hudson, WI 54016 – Must be postmarked on or before January 31, 2012 for a timely payment. If you need a receipt, enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope w/payment.

E-CHECK (ACH DEBIT) - $3.00 Charge per Parcel. Internet at www.sccwi.us / Click on “Pay Taxes Online”

CREDIT CARD – 2.35% Service Charge - Internet at www.sccwi.us / Click on “Pay Taxes Online” (Allow up to 3 days for payment to be applied even though it says “Same Day Pay”)

TAXES ARE DUE BY January 31, 2012

MAIL EARLY TO ENSURE TIMELY PAYMENT

FAILURE TO PAY BY JANUARY 31, 2012 – YOUR ENTIRE BALANCE OF TAXES BECOMES DELINQUENT AND SUBJECT TO PENALTY AND INTEREST AT A RATE OF 11/2 % PER MONTH STARTING FEBRUARY 1 UNTIL PAID IN FULL.

Dog Licenses need to be paid directly to your municipality!

Certificate of current RABIES vaccination is required with application.
