College-bound Raiders

Seven of the nine Hudson High School seniors who will be continuing their athletic careers in college got together for a picture on national signing day Wednesday, Feb. 1, in the school commons.

Seven of the nine Hudson High School seniors who will be continuing their athletic careers in college got together for a picture on national signing day Wednesday, Feb. 1, in the school commons.

In front from left, are Racheal Knoke (UW-Oshkosh, track and field), Jessie Kirkwood (University of Dubuque, basketball), Alexandra Willi (Hamline University, hockey), and Casey Fall (Coast Guard Academy, track and field).

In back are Tyler Smrcina (University of Minnesota-Duluth, football), Brett Steinwagner (Des Moines Area Community College, baseball), and Matt Strachota (UW-Eau Claire or UW-La Crosse, football).

Missing are Katie Wetzstein (University of South Dakota, track and cross country) and Jenny Fassbinder (Valparaiso University, soccer).
