Letter: Appreciates candidness

Last week’s letter “Dislikes one candidate” by Joyce Hall was very interesting. After reading it I wish I was in that district so I could vote for Sandy Gehrke. Any school board would be well-served by having a member like Ms. Gehrke who apparently has the guts to “tell it like it is” and not be politically correct merely to win votes. How refreshing! The public school system, along with most universities, is well known for grooming adherents to socialist beliefs and all these recall elections - started by the leftist democrats and unionists — certainly are a total waste of taxpayer money.

As to respecting the president; respect is earned, Ms. Joyce, not given, and while we respect the office of the president, it’s the current socialist-Marxist occupant that has shown nothing less than total disrespect for us, our country, our way of life and most certainly the Constitution of the United States.
