Michelle Pietrick resigned her position as county finance director effective March 7. Tammy Funk, human resources director, said the search for a replacement will take place over the next month.
Pietrick, who worked for the county since April 28, 2003, will be taking a position with the city of South St. Paul.
Elizabeth Frank, formerly a deputy clerk of court and most recently Branch I judicial assistant to Judge Eric Lundell has taken over the new position of administrative assistant to County Administrator Pat Thompson.
Deputy Clerk of Court Kimberly Carey moved into the position as Lundell’s judicial assistant.
Wanda Plourde, administrative assistant at the Veteran’s Administration office, is back on the job after an extensive medical leave for back surgery, which is good news for all vets needing the services of the VA.
