Sign up for girls T-ball

Hudson Boosters is offering a girls only T-ball league which will play in the fields behind North Hudson Elementary. The Hudson Boosters boys T-Ball program will continue playing their games at the cinder lot by Willow River Elementary. The Boosters hope to attract more girls to softball by having the five- and six-year-old girls playing in their own T-Ball league. Dance team holds recital March 11

Raidaires Dance Team recital will featuring varsity and JV performances, as well as Junior Dance Camp performances, on Sunday, March 11, at 1 p.m. in the Hudson High School east gym. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Try out for dance team

The High School Raidaires Dance Team try-outs are March 12-15. Youth in grades 8-11 are welcome to participate. An informational meeting is on Tuesday, March 6, at 3:15 in room 515 at Hudson High School. Try-out practices will be held Monday and Tuesday in the HHS commons from 5-7 p.m. and Wednesday in the HHS cafeteria from 3:15-5:15 p.m. Try-outs will be in the HHS east gym on Thursday, March 15, at 5 p.m. For more information, e-mail Maddie Baird at bairdar@hudson.k12.wi.us.

Adult soccer offered

The Hudson Soccer Association will again be sponsoring a co-ed soccer league this spring for adults 21 and over. Open to a range of skill levels. Games are officiated and are on Sundays at 5 p.m. at the Hudson Soccer Complex. Players are assigned a jersey and team. The spring session begins Sunday, May 6, and ends July 22. Cost is $75 per person. Registration deadline is Wednesday, April 4. Registrations after April 4th are accepted only as space allows. Ace in Arizona

Jim Hallen of Hudson got a hole-in-one while playing golf at the Arizona State University Karsten Golf Course in Tempe Sunday, Feb. 19. Hallen scored his hole-in-one on the par-3, 176-yard sixth hole using a 5-iron.
