Girls’ basketball season ends in regional
The Raider girls’ basketball team lost to Eau Claire Memorial, 59-36, in a WIAA regional semifinal last Tuesday, March 6 to end the season with a record of 4-18.
The Raider girls’ basketball team lost to Eau Claire Memorial, 59-36, in a WIAA regional semifinal last Tuesday, March 6 to end the season with a record of 4-18.
Memorial jumped out to an 18-7 first quarter lead and led 30-9 at halftime on its way to the victory.
Senior Jessie Kirkwood led Hudson with 10 points, including two three-pointers, and five rebounds while senior Maddie Drewiske finished with nine points. Freshman Maggie Koehler scored six points in the loss and junior Ellie Whitacre had five while junior Kindra Witthus scored four and junior Sarah Krier finished with two.
